Visiting as a team is a great way to encourage, BE encouraged, and to impact the local community.
Groups who come to TheRiver.Asia have their own designated group leader, who is accountable to the group’s sending body and TheRiver.Asia. Teams usually stay 4-14 days and follow an itinerary or ministry plan established by TheRiver.Asia Team in consultation with the visiting team’s group leader.
So what does it look like to come as a team?
Teams can be involved in various forms of ministry, such as kids and youth, community care, school programs (such as English and sports), music, building projects and maintenance, leadership development, conferences and boot camps, as well as development work in remote mountain communities. The focus is always on how best to align and benefit the visiting team’s input with the work of The River.Asia.
