Where to begin with describing all that was imparted during our Women’s Conference?! We were privileged to have Ps Rachel Mawston, Louise and Tanya from Hillsong Brisbane, Malina from A21 Thailand, as well as our very own Mariaana and Yua share throughout the Conference.
The message of hope and the value of sisterhood is being carried back into communities all across SE Asia this week. We stand in anticipation of all that God is going to do through the lives of each woman that attended the Conference.
On the first night Malina opened with a powerful message on our identity in Christ. Our value is not in a role, a function, or what we do, but it is in Christ alone.
Ps Rachel Mawston shared about the importance of building core strength not only in the physical, but in the spiritual. She spoke about putting on the armour of God. One particular thing that stood out was that she explained that most of the armour of God is for defence, yet the sword of the spirit (God’s Word) is for attack! We can be strong in God despite the storms of life.
Louise then shared a beautiful message on how she heard Jesus singing to her. He asks us ‘what do you want?’ God is closer to us than we can ever understand and He wants to know us intimately.
On our last night together, Mariaana spoke about seeing God clearly without the pollution of this world. With clear eyesight we can see God at work within our lives and God at work through our lives.
On the final day Yua shared on Naman’s slave girl in 2 Kings. Though she was insignificant, she knew who God was and who she was in Him and acted with courage and bravery.
We finished the Conference with a beautiful sharing of communion altogether, in awe of all that God has done, is doing and will do.
